Tonight i went out for a big family dinner with my boyfriends family. The meal was to celebrate his brother coming home to visit from barnsley and his other brothers 30th birthday ! We went for to a really nice Chinese restaurant so i tried to dress up a little. I wore some of my christmas clothes. My maroon skinnies from Asda !! Which i have never thought to look for clothes but seen them whilst food shopping and fell in love i also bought a pair in camel. I wore my snake skin blouse from next which i love ! I can't wait until after christmas when i can wear it all the time ! This was also a very rare occasion where i wore heels ! Think i will try and wear them more often as they didn't hurt at all and it made me feel more dressed up :) 

Also another apology for my lack of blogging as soon as i posted last week saying how i was going to post more my teachers handed us a massive deadline ! And i have been really busy finishing off my personal statement as i am applying to university tomorrow ! I am so nervous ! This week however should be more relaxed and hopefully will have a bit to blog about as i am going shopping tomorrow :)

Hi everyone ! I have been so busy lately and have not had time to blog but hopefully will make this up this week :) 

So as you all know last month i dyed my hair ginger ! Well the roots where unbearable and as i am a poor student :( I could not afford to keep up with the maintenance ! So i have dyed my hair back black but have had the ends dip dyed turquoise ! Although i was sad to see my ginger hair go i do love my new dip dyed look :) Plus when the turquoise washes out i can choose another colour !

Best Buy - My new gold cross earrings ! Featured in the picture above ! I only got them the other day but have not had them out . They go with everything ! £10 from Urban Outfitters .

Best Tv Show - The Young Apprentice ! I love Alan Sugar and some of the tasks are so fun ! I would love to take part in this show !

Best Of My iTunes - I am still listening to a lot of punk/pop such as Bowling for Soup. With the addition of some of the Lonely Island songs ! They are so funny if you have not heard of them youtube them !

Best Book - Finally bought myself Ghost World ! A graphic novel. I love the film and the book was amazing as well.

Best Film - Twilight Breaking Dawn. As a die hard Potter fan was a little weary watching the new Twilight but it was so good. I am not the biggest fan of Kristen Stewart but she did such a good job in this film.

Best Website - Tumblr.com I have become obsessed with tumblr ! Spending hours on here browsing beautiful pictures  :)

Best Moment - Halloween ! I know it was kind of the end of October but its close enough ;) I love Halloween it is my favourite holiday ! I love getting dressed up and scary films !

December Brings - Christmas !!! Cannot wait ! My favourite part of christmas is seeing people open the presents i have bought them ! This year should be really good as well as i am spending it with my nan and aunties :) 

Tropical Fever !

Today if anybody wasn't aware was the launch of Versace for H&M. Me and my friend Steffi decided to go there really early to Que. and hopefully be the first in ! Well we turned up at about 20 past 6 and the Que. wasn't nearly as big as we thought ! They only allowed 20 people in at a time and each group of 20 had a different coloured wrist band and a certain time slot. Once in there we where then only allowed 10 minutes to shop and could only buy one piece of each item ( so you couldn't buy two sizes of one thing ) We luckily where in the second group of people allowed in :D This is what i got.

I only had £100 to spend and got both of these for £95 so i think i did quite well ! I only really had my heart set on the leggings but once i seen the jacket i had to have it ! I know they are not everybody's cup of tea but i really like them ! I just have to find things to wear them with now ! Another thing i love about the collection is the theme that runs right through. From the shopping bag to the clothing bags and even down to the wristbands it was all Versace themed.

Today was just a chilled out day as i have not been very well lately :( hence me not looking the best on this photograph due to no make up ! I just went to my boyfriends in the night and sat round watching the soaps ( oh how exciting my life is ) Anyway i wore my new leather style jacket from Primark which i got for a bargain £20 and i really love it  ! It goes with so much of my wardrobe. I am considering getting some stud's from eBay and diy'ing it as i can't afford to buy an already studded one ! They are so expensive. 

So i mentioned in my last post that i started my new college project so for a change i thought i would show you some of my work. I found a great picture of a girl from lookbook who was wearing a bleached denim playsuit and the bleached denim reminded me of skinhead style so i did an illustration from it ! Here it is.

Friday Inspiration !

Hi everyone just a little post to let you know i am not dead ! been missing from this for a while. I have a ton of college work lately as we got handed our new assignment which is about androgyny with an underlying theme from a subculture for example punk , goth , victorian etc. I am choosing Skinhead so i am getting lots of inspiration from the new Rihanna video we found love. Which seems very influenced by that style and the film This Is England. So have lots to do on this new project. Will try to keep posting though :)
Also had an interview this week for Topshop so fingers crossed i get it ! Its only a christmas temp job but at least it would be something :)

Fright Night !

So last night i went out for Halloween as planned ! I changed what i was going to wear a bit and opted for my Minnie Mouse dress i wore last year as i felt a bit left out when everyone else had real fancy dress costumes on. I still did my day of the dead make up though. Was a really good night. Hope you had a great weekend too :)

Here Comes Halloween ! Everybody Scream !

I may not have really made it apparent on this blog but i rarely ever go out ! The last time i had a night out was my birthday which was in march ! So after much persuasion off friends i am going out on saturday for Halloween :)
And yes i am dressing up !
So my i'm thinking i will wear My red lace dress you can see here  with some tights and flat shoes ! As i cannot handle heels !
Here comes the halloween bit ! I plan on painting my face like a day of the dead skull !

Creepy Cravings !

I have wanted a pair of creepers for a while now ! And then i found these and with my recent disney obsession i am now obsessed with getting them ! Hopefully might get them for christmas :) If any one is wondering they are from Lazy Oaf  they also have a Minnie Mouse style T-shirt which would go perfectly with them ! What do you think of them ?

Dreams do come true !

My Auntie is possibly the biggest bargain hunter in the world ! And after a big rant to her about wanting a Moschino belt ! She found a Moschino bag for £1 !!!!!! Yes a pound ! So i decided i would cut into the strap with the Moschino letters on the bag and make my own belt ! So there it is :D I no its not a big one like most of the Moschino belts but i am happy with it ! Reality is that even if i got a big letter style Moschino belt it will most probably not fit as i only seem to see them in a small or medium so i would have to swap the letters to another belt anyway. So happy ! And i still have a little brown Moschino bag to use !

This is what i wore today. It isn't a particularly daring outfit or indeed that special its just thrown together. I just wanted to do an outfit post with my new hair to show how it looks properly ! I also had my eyebrows lightened ! I tried to get it done at a salon but after phoning around nobody wanted to touch me and said they cannot lighten eyebrows ! After freaking out i youtubed eyebrow lightening and alot of girls on there had tutorials using cream bleach ( The stuff women use to bleach their top lip ) So i did that and i think they turned out ok ! My hair seems to be like Marmite ! People either really love it or they hate it and are trying to convince me to dye it ! I like it and after the initial shock of seeing orange hair in the mirror of a morning i am getting used to it. I went to my nans today my toughest critic and she loved it so that has made me want to keep it !

I Have Been Tangoed !

So i finally dyed my hair ! The thing is my friend bleached it first because my hair was really dark brown and we didn't think it would lift that much ! Well we were wrong my hair went blonde ! And i had bought a bright dye thinking with my hair not lifting as much i would try and get it as ginger as i could ! But with it going blonde my hair is now orange ! I like it but feel i really need to fix my brows ! I must also stress the fact it is still 10 times brighter in real life than the picture ! 

Anyway what do you all think :) ? 

Cheap & Chic !

I mentioned yesterday i was going to the Judy's Affordable Vintage Fair ! Well as i am a jobless student i convinced me dad to give me some money and whatever i get i would keep for christmas. As soon as i got there i got my hands on a gorgeous oversized Levi's denim jacket which doesn't look as great on photo's so maybe will have to wait for an ootd to post ! I also got a checked shirt and some odd jewellery bits and bobs. Just as i was about to leave ( due to my boyfriends boredom ) I went to have another quick look around and that is when i spotted the most amazing Moschino backpack !! I like so many others out there am in search of a Moschino belt ! But for now i will settle with my backpack :) Devastatingly though the women who sold me the backpack had sold two Moschino belts the week before !! And for only £15 !! 

Here is my bag what do you think ? Don't know how i will hold out till christmas without using it ! Also if anyone who has any tips on where to get a Moschino belt that isn't extremely expensive they would be extremely appreciated :) 

Playsuit !

I mentioned in my last post that i had attended an event for  Fashion Finds and that they owner of the boutique had let me pick an item ! Well here is the playsuit i got ! 

I have always been a bit weary of playsuits as i didn't think i could really pull them off but i think this one looks good :) I love the print ! 

I still can't believe it was only £15 to buy in the shop anyway ! 

Today i am off to the "Judy's Affordable Vintage Fair" Thats being held at Aintree Racecourse :) 

Hope i pick up some bargains !

Posers !

I mentioned in my last post that i am now apart of Fashion Finds . Well this weekend i attended my first assignment for them ! It was to a small boutique in liverpool called Posers. To attend their first birthday celebration ! I must admit that this is not the type of shop i would normally think of going to, mainly as i always think of these types of shops as only doing small sizes. To my surprise Posers went up to a size 14 in nearly all garments and even had a plus size section which i think is really nice to see as you don't often get that in smaller boutiques.The clothes where all really nice a swell with a wide variety from day time casual to dresses for nights out ! They also had a great selection of coats !  Here is just a few of my favourite outfits ! To see the rest you can go on to the Fashion Finds site ! 

Also as a treat for attending the event the owner let me pick something from the shop to keep ! I got the playsuit in the middle picture ! It is really stunning and only retailed at £15 which is amazing ! I wore it today and it was so comfortable as well ! Sadly didn't get a picture today but definitely will next time and will post it !

Here  is a picture of the celebration in full swing ! They made such an effort and even had a DJ in the back as well as catered food and champagne !! 

This is one of the amazing jackets they had ! It had buttons on the front shoulders as well ! It was absolutely gorgeous ! Over all it was a really fun event at a shop i hadn't known about before and i would definitely go back there again ! The staff were really friendly and it had a great atmosphere ! 

Really excited for future Fashion Finds assignments ! :)

October Brings - A new hair colour !! Soo excited to dye it :) , Mine and my boyfriends three and a half year anniversary ! ( Yes we celebrate half's :D ) Halloween my favourite holiday ! I have always said it halloween had presents it would out do christmas for me !

 Today i wore my Missoni style dress from Primark ! I really love this dress and totally forgot i had it ! I found it laying on my wardrobe floor ! So after rediscovering it i wore it today as the weather was really nice as well !

As usual i have slacking this week ! I once again have been so busy with college ! And have very exciting news as well ! I think i mentioned quite a few posts ago that i was trying to volunteer for a street style website based in Liverpool called Fashion Finds ! Well they got back to me a few weeks ago but with all the stress of starting college i only read the email a few days ago ! And they want me to be a street style photographer for them ! So i have already scoured the streets of Liverpool and sent them a few pics and one of them is featured on their site right now ! With a link to me and my blog underneath it ! It may not seem that exciting to you but to me it is such a big deal :) So i may make it a feature on here to show some of the street style pictures i take ! Would you be interested in that or not ? What I Wore Yesterday

T-shirt & Skirt - H&M, Leggings, Hairband & Boots -Topshop, Necklace - Primark

I realised yesterday that it had been quite sometime since i last did an outfit post ! So here it is ! I was only going to sit in my boyfriends so i just threw some clothes on. I wore my Ramones T-Shirt which i got from H&M a few months ago and surprisingly hadn't got round to wearing it till yesterday. I also wore my new H&M skirt which since i have bought i have been basically living in ! Its so easy to throw on and goes with so many things ! I'm wearing my bird cage necklace from Primark :) Which i adore and am giving one away in my giveaway which ends tomorrow so go enter if you already haven't :)
I also redid my nails in a kind of scrabble style :) I'm loving my nail art pen so much but am running out of idea's now ! Do you have any nail designs you would like me to try out ?

Remington Pearl Wand Review !

So i mentioned a week or so ago i had finally purchased the Remington Pearl Wand after wanting one for quite a while now ! So here is the review on it that i promised :)

This is my hair as i woke up this morning ! Its naturally curly but i had straightened it last night ! 

This is the wand :) It has a on/off button and two buttons to adjust the heat. It starts at 130 degrees and goes up to 210 degrees. It literally heats up in seconds ! The wand comes with a gloved for you to use so that you don't burn your fingers but i find i can't separate my hair properly with the glove on so i am still getting one or two burn't fingers now and again :( The product also comes with a heat proof sleeve to place the wand in after curling :) 

This is my hair after ! Its really curly :) You can achieve bigger curls by using bigger sections of hair but today i felt like tighter curls ! I find that all the other curlers i have used i have to thicken my hair in hair spray to keep the curls in ! I have used this wand quite a few times now and have not used any spray and my curls have stayed in all day and hardly dropped out ! Which is amazing ! I would honestly recommed this to anybody as it is to easy to use and really quick it took about 15 minutes for me to do my hair opposed to the usual hour with my other curlers !! 

I also have a little announcement to make ! Next month i am planning to dye my hair ginger ! I am a little bit scared but have wanted a big change for a while and don't think you can get a bigger change than this ! The only thing i am really worried about is what to do about my eyebrows because they are really dark ! My friend suggested just getting them thinner but i quite like my thick brows ! I am considering just getting them lightened but don't know much about it ! Has anyone had their lighted and can tell me what its like ??

Aztec Nails

My Week In Pictures :)

I'm sorry i haven't been the best blogger lately ! But i have been a little overwhelmed with the amount of college work i have been given this week ! Promise to be a better blogger this coming week :) 

I have seen a few of these on numerous blogs and have wanted to give it a go myself ! So here it is my week in pictures :)

I am a really big Harry Potter fan and have been trying to convince my boyfriend to take me to orlando to go the new harry potter world ! But it hasn't quite worked :(. But my boyfriend did find a box of Bertie Botts every flavor beans in a new sweet shop !!! I was so excited when he gave me them ! The flavours are a little unusual with things such as Earthworm, Rotten Egg & Soap ! The worst one though was Vomit !! Which i can say i did try and the flavours where pretty much spot on !! Had a bit of fun getting family to taste and guess the flavours though :) definitely recommend them if you can get your hands on them. 

I also won my first blog give away !!! I won this cute little bracelet from Sarah from BeautyInImperfection . Thank you !! I haven't worn it out yet but definitely will this coming week ! Also Considering a 50 Follower giveaway myself ! If i do what would you want from a giveaway for example - jewellery or bath stuff or make up ?? Let me know :) 

 I have also been craving a decal for my mac for a long time ! I originally considered a snow white one which i have seen many other people with. But i then came across a Mr Potato head one ! I love ToyStory so i ordered this and it came this morning !!! What do you think ??

Leopard Print !

Ok so i'm not doing so well with my shopping ban ! I have been dying to buy the Models Own nail art pen for a while now and this weekend i gave in ! This is my first proper attempt at using it ! Already i am in love with it :)
I can't wait to try out different designs and patterns :) I'm already considering buying one in white as well !
I also bought the Remington Pearl Wand as i have been after a wand curler for ages as well and after some great reviews of the Remington one i got it :) I haven't used it properly yet but will post a review myself when i do !

Dress - Miss Selfridge, Coat - Next, Leggings - Topshop, Hairband - Primark

So i ended up buying the dress from Miss Selfridge ! I really love it ! Its really simple but i think it looks really good on compared to on the picture online. I wore it with my favourite jacket from next, you can't really tell from the picture but its a padded Barbour style jacket which i got last year but they seem to be a big trend for this winter as well so it turned out to be a good buy ! Today the weather was so bad it just seemed to rain all day ! Will have to invest in a good umbrella soon :) 

No wednesday wishes for today ! As i am putting myself on a shopping ban ( god know's how long it will last ) as i don't have that much money to be spending on clothes right now. I also need to start saving for christmas as i have a very long list of people to buy for !

College went well ! I am in the same days as i was last year so i won't feel too muddled up ! And i am in the same class as my friends which is always nice :) I meant to get a picture of what i wore on my first day but by the time i got to my boyfriends ( my usual photographer ! ) that night i looked a mess ! Our new project is on liverpool which is great as thats where i live so i can draw loads of inspiration from just walking around the city :) Will post some work when it gets finished :)

ootd - Last Day Of Summer

Today is officially the last day of the summer holidays ! Whilst i am looking forward to going back to college tomorrow to see my friends and just generally have something to do ! I do not look forward to the stresses this college year brings :( things like the stress of applying for university,the interviews that will come with that and this year will be a lot of college work ! Hopefully our assignments will be good :)
Today i wore my LBD from Topshop and teamed it with my new cardigan from Primark which i love ! Its perfect for the coming winter as it is so comfortable and warm and i just love the colours ! It was also really cheap at only £15 when something similar in Topshop would cost around £50.
In my last post i mentioned my dilemma between two dresses from Evans ! Thanks to everyone who commented it was a really hard choice but when i got to the store they didn't have the second dress in stock so i just tried the first which was what i think i was swaying towards anyway but when i tried it on it was such an awkward fit ! it was really baggy on top but tight on my legs. And just didn't look right :( A few shops later however i found another dress that struck my fancy. A Maroon coloured dress from Miss Selfridge for just £28

Wednesday Wishes #4

Dress 1 - Evans - £35,  Dress 2 - Evans - £32

Whilst browsing the web i came across these two dresses on Evans. I really like both of them and feel they would both fit in to my autumn wardrobe perfectly as both can be worn with tights and shoes or boots. I feel they could also both be dressed up or down. They are also both similar prices ! And i don't have the money for both :( So i have to decide..
I'm going into town friday with my friend so i think i will go in and try both on and then decide. Soo hard though as they are both really nice !
Which would you choose ?

In a Galaxy Far Far Away …

Sorry the pictures are not the best ! In need of a new camera but don't think i will be getting one till at least christmas :( 

So after my last nail art attempt i have been dying to try another and when i seen galaxy nails on etcllymlrs i really wanted to try them out as it didn't include nail art pens and didn't seem to difficult. 

I think they turned out pretty well ! I definitely need to invest in a top coat varnish and some glitter polish as well ! But apart from that i am quite happy with them. 

In other news my dad came home from a trip to Rome yesterday and brought me back some Mark Jacobs - Daisy perfume :) 

I have to say its one of the prettiest perfume bottles i have seen in a long time ! And it smells soo good !

It will also give me a break from my everyday perfume which is Vera Wang - Princess. I think i should start investing in some more perfumes ! 

Any suggestions of nice ones ?
