Spring Inspirations - Pretty Pastels

Pastels are a big trend for this Spring and it is a trend i want to fully embrace ! I love all things pastel as it immediately makes me think of my one of my favourite films Edward Scissorhands :) I love how all the women in the film dress head to toe in one pastel colour, and all the houses and cars are in matching pastels. Although i don't plan on dressing head to toe in one colour i do plan on incorporating alot of pastels into my wardrobe this year ! Here are my favourite picks of the high street so far ! 

Jumper - This is £36 from Topshop and is my favourite piece out of my picks ! I love jumpers and have bought literally about 8 this winter ! But i could always have one more :) I love the mint colour and the length is perfect to go with leggings, jeans or even tucked into a skirt or with shirt underneath for an extra preppy look :) 

Blouse - This is £30 from Topshop. I already have a jersey shirt this style from last year but i think this material makes the shirt look more expensive ! I can see this going with alot of outfits :) 

Jeans - These are £32 from Asos Curve and i really love them ! I used to have a slight obsession with coloured jeans which i think is recurring at the moment ! I love lilac and this shade is to dye for ! ( get my joke there shade - dye :P ) Its also really nice to see a pair of colour skinny jeans in the plus size section instead of plain black which i see everywhere else! They have a few other jeans in other pastels colours on Asos Curve but these where clearly my favourite ! 

Shoes - These are £60 from Topshop. I rarely fall in love with shoes ! But i have fell hard for these ! They also come in mint ! I love how shiny they are! I would love to swap the laces for pale pink ribbon to match and make them even more girly ! Although i doubt i will be able to afford these as they are way out of my price range at the moment :( 

Watch - This is £33 from Accessorise and although i don't normally wear watches i really like this one as it is more like a bracelet ! I love the gold and mint together ! I might even put this on my birthday wish list :)

ootd - 90's Obsession :)

Jacket - Versace for H&M, Blouse & Skirt - New Look, Tights - Primark, Boots & Headband - Topshop

Since i wore my Versace leggings the other day i have really wanted to finally wear my jacket out as well ! So today was the day ! I teamed it with a white blouse which i got for only £8 in the New Look sale ! one of the only sales i got anything from this year and my black skirt also from New Look. I had been searching for a black skirt for so long and as usual the day i wasn't looking i came across one :) I felt a bit like i was in school uniform in this outfit but i kind of like it :) I wore this for a quite pub lunch with the boyfriend :) And although i love this jacket it attracted a lot of very strange looks ! The jacket reminds me so much of something from the Fresh Prince of Bel Air ! Which is great because i am currently reliving my 90's childhood since my friend introduced me to @the90slife on twitter which is just full of funny film quotes and sayings from the 90's ! I also discovered that MTV is showing reruns of Daria ! Which was my all time favourite cartoon as a kid ! And in the spirit of cartoons i have decided to create a cartoon version of me for my new blog header ! I'm not 100% on it yet so let me know what you think !

Notd & Juicy Couture Ring :)

For the last few weeks i haven't really been making much of an effort with my nails so last night i decided to get all my polishes out and do some leopard print nail art :) I really love the lilac and green together ! I also decided to do one nail a darker purple with a gold glitter top coat which i think has turned out really nice ! Sorry the picture isn't the best i really am in need of a new camera :( 

I have also been wearing this ring alot ! I got it for christmas and i love it ! It is Juicy Couture and is a solid perfume ring. I have wanted a perfume ring for such a long time and i think this is one of the prettiest ones i have seen. The perfume is Juicy Couture - Couture Couture  and it smells amazing ! I would love to see a lipsgloss version :)

ootd - Club Tropicana

Jacket - Vintage Levi, Top - H&M, Leggings - Versace for H&M, Boots - Dr Martens, 

So i finally wore my Versace leggings ! I am not too sure of this outfit but it was the only thing that remotely looked ok with my leggings and i have been dying to wear them ! I really want a long flowy black vest top to team them with but i cannot for the life of my find one ! I'm also wearing my vintage levi jacket which i got for christmas i love it so much but the sleeves are quite long as you can see ! You can probably also see from the picture my hair colour has washed out quite abit. It is now a pale green which i do like but am excited for it to all come out to try another colour. I am thinking purple or pink. Any suggestions ?

Today i also opened a nail varnish set i got for christmas. It is by front cover and all the polishes are metallic and their is a gold glitter top coat as well. Today i used Moon rock as a base coat it is a shimmery pearl colour ( the first polish on the second row in the picture) i then applied the gold glitter top coat to make it more shiny ! I really like the way it has turned out. It is more shimmery in real life :) Over the next few weeks i will try and review all the colours ! Im especially excited to try the dark purple :) 

I also got very exciting news today !!  I have been offered a conditional offer from my first choice for university :D I am so happy its unbelievable ! Now i just need to get my grades up ! Wish me luck haha  :)

New Year New Start !

So i have completely disappeared for the last few weeks mainly due to stress over college work and applying to university ( which i have finally done ! ) then the build up to christmas and then i felt more out of the loop so i thought it would be best to wait until the new year to get back into blogging.
Anyway i hope everyone had a brilliant christmas ! Me and my boyfriend went to my aunties house this year for christmas as we spent it with his family last year. I got everything i wanted and a few surprises.

I got a new blackberry and an ipod classic which i am so happy about because i sadly lost my old ipod shuffle recently. My auntie also got me a Vivienne Westwood drinking bottle as she knows how much i love Vivienne Westwood and that i had asked her for one of my cousins old drinking bottles to use in college. I was so surprised and i love it ! I also got loads of bath stuff and a beautiful Juicy Couture perfume ring which i will feature in another post and then just vouchers and of course a pair of creepers off my boyfriend :D.

As i mentioned before i spent Christmas with my family so for New Year's Eve last night i spent it with my boyfriends family.We all went out for a meal in a very nice Chinese restaurant which me and my boyfriend both love. We had a really nice time and because it was a more casual occasion i wore my camel coloured jeans, i searched everywhere for a pair of jeans this colour and one day was doing a shop around Asda and spotted them ! i also bought them in a maroon which i think i have already featured on another post. I also wore a shirt jumper combo which i am loving at the moment i feel that i want a nice necklace to wear with this look in future. I then of course wore my new creepers which i am wearing with everything at the moment i love them so much !
